My name is Stefanie Stankus and I am a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I received my dog training certification through the Wendy Kelly School of Applied Animal Behavior and am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. I am also formally trained in education and applied behavior analysis with a Master’s degree in Exceptional Education. I have extensive knowledge in the principles of behavior and how to apply them in everyday settings to create a more positive, loving environment for everybody. Effective dog training is based on a good relationship between the dog and the owner.
Without professional training, it can sometimes be a frustrating and difficult relationship, but with an investment in good training, a wonderful transformation will occur. There is nothing more satisfying to see a happy dog and a happy owner enjoying one another. Dog Love uses positive reinforcement techniques to support and build a trust relationship free of fear and filled with fun! We reward the good behavior and never use harmful or painful techniques, such as prong collars, shock collars, or any other type of physical punishment. Dog Love only uses techniques that will make your dog want to train and please you more and more!
Dog Love takes dog training and coaching very seriously and we love and appreciate our pets. Our pets are a big part of over lives and we want to help each dog live up to their full potential. Most people do not realize the amazing abilities dog have and how easy it can be to help them reach their full potential.
Taking a positive approach to training your dog will benefit your relationship with him/her and increase the likelihood that your pet will repeat the desired behavior. By eliminating the use of pain or punishment, you strengthen the bond between you and your dog and create a mutually established trust, reliance, and friendship.
We believe training can be a fun and rewarding experience for all involved. At Dog Love Dog Training, only positive training methods are used to reinforce new and desired behaviors. We know that real change comes with the right motivation. Through all of our coaching programs, you will never again have to worry about taking your dog around other people or dogs. Never worry about troublesome behavior again!
We know how much you love your dog, but sometimes their behavior can prevent you from truly enjoying one another or activities together. If you are frustrated with them chewing your furniture, running away, yanking their leash, biting, or jumping, it’s time to change that behavior. Nobody wants to lock their dog away in another room or feel that they can never take them out in the community.
